An exciting opportunity exists for motivated individuals to join a respected Marlborough
engineering business as General Engineering Apprentices. Based in Blenheim, you’ll learn all aspects of general engineering —particularly carbon and stainless-steel fabrication.

Role description:
Work alongside experienced engineers to develop your technical skills in mechanical fitting and fabrication disciplines. This four-year apprenticeship will set you up with a strong trade qualification and a rewarding long-term career. Training includes E-learning, practical workplace assessments and block courses each year

The opportunity:
● Gain a New Zealand Certificate in General Engineering (Level 4)
● Achieve pay increases throughout your apprenticeship as you achieve and meet
milestones.
● The opportunity to work in the workshop and on-site installation projects throughout NZ

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following
background/experience/qualities:
● Positive, dedicated attitude toward self-development
● Interest in mechanical or electrical systems
● Technically minded with problem-solving ability
● Sound written and verbal communication skills
● Completed NCEA Level 1 English and Mathematics (minimum)
