About the opportunity:

This fixed-term opportunity suits an experienced Esri Technical Consultant looking to work across project delivery and client support within a respected GIS consulting environment. The role supports existing customers with their Esri implementations while contributing to the design and delivery of GIS solutions. With strong growth plans, there is potential for a longer term or a full-time opportunity beyond the initial term.

Role description:

The role provides Esri technical consulting, GIS analysis and business analysis services. It involves requirements gathering, solution design, configuration of Esri applications, and supporting ArcGIS Enterprise environments while working closely with clients and internal delivery teams.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Esri GIS technical consulting and support to clients

  • Support ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online

  • Design and Configure Esri out-of-the-box applications

  • Contribute to project delivery and testing

  • Gather and document customer requirements

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: 

  • Located in New Zealand with a valid work visa

  • 2+ years’ commercial Esri GIS experience

  • Strong ArcGIS platform knowledge

  • Client-facing consulting or advisory experience

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • FME (or ArcGIS Data Interoperability) experience (ideal)

  • Experience with Survey123 or Field Maps (ideal)

  • Python and/or Arcade desirable
