Work Location: Christchurch

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours minimum, roster from Monday-Sunday)

Our pay: $29.00 to $30.00 per hour (Based on your ability & capability)

To enhance our team, we are now looking for 1 Retail Manager to join our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for attention to details, ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.

•  Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years relevant work experience in the same field or industry, OR
• Have a relevant level 4 qualification or above (equivalent overseas qualification can be accepted)

Tasks Include:

• Provide overall direction and management of the business
• Oversee the services and goods provided in two stores and ensure the business remains highly competitive if necessary
• Setting sales target and determining product range, price, stock levels and standard operating procedures
• Maintain excellent quality of service by ensuring the maintenance of customer service, store presentation and service and goods quality
• Control the business running cost and avoid going over budget
• Recruit, select, hire and train the staff you want to work with and motivate them
• Actively promoting the store and maintain positive staff morale
• Manage staff roster, control wage costs and review staff performance ensure appropriate staff trainings are up to date
• Promote and market services to potential customers
• Assist with GST, PAYE related paperwork for accounting purpose and managing other daily business concerned financial transactions;
• Be responsible for the financial performance of the store;
• Observe health and other laws and regulations, including ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
