Raja Engineering Limited seeks experienced Welders to work across Tauranga construction sites, carrying out welding, fabrication, onsite repairs, and installation work. The roles support ongoing project demands and require strong technical ability and adherence to safety standards.

Position Title: Welder
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Tauranga
Pay Rate: $29 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience or Level 4 qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication on steel components at various construction sites.
  • Carry out welding tasks as required by project specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements accurately.
  • Install, repair, and modify metal structures, frames, and equipment.
  • Conduct onsite welding repairs and maintenance for structural and non‑structural work.
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
  • Operate grinders, cutters, and other metal fabrication tools safely.
  • Follow health and safety requirements at all customer and construction sites.
  • Travel to different project locations across Tauranga as work requires.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job records in good condition.
