Senses Royal Thai Massage is a local Thai Massage shop in Richmond. We are looking for experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

Requirements 

• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

Job Descriptions

  • Massaging the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing, relieve pain, and improve mobility

  • Applying a range of massage techniques, including traditional Thai massage, deep tissue, stretching-based bodywork, and pressure-point techniques, to enhance physical performance and prevent injury

  • Administering therapeutic treatments to promote relaxation, improve blood circulation, reduce muscular tension, and support stress management

  • Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunctions and providing appropriate rehabilitation and recovery advice to clients

  • Employing complementary techniques such as acupressure or Shiatsu-inspired methods, and using aids including herbal compresses, essential oils, ice, wet compresses, or infra-red heat therapy to assist recovery and wellbeing

  • Conducting client consultations by assessing physical condition, posture, flexibility, and case history, and adjusting treatments accordingly

  • Advising clients on stretching exercises, relaxation techniques, posture awareness, and lifestyle practices to support ongoing physical health

  • Maintaining accurate client treatment records in accordance with professional and workplace standards

  • Ensuring all treatments comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

• This is a full-time and permanent position

• Wage payment will range from a minimum of $27 to a maximum of $35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience. You will receive weekly payments.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

• You will be working at 1st Floor, 231 Queen Street, Richmond 7020

• We are open from Monday to Sunday, 9.30 am – 6.30 pm

• You will work according to a roster, 5–6 days per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours (maximum of 48 hours per week)
