  • Location: AUCKLAND
  • Job type: Full-time Permanent
  • Number of positions for this job: up to 2
  • Pay rate: from $28.5 to $35 per hour
  • Days required: 5-6 days/week
  • Hours per week: min 30 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion. 

- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finishes and match original vehicle colors. 

- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray guns or other techniques. 

- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring smooth and even finishes with no defects. 

- Repair imperfections such as scratches, dents, and rust before painting. 

- Maintain and clean tools, spray booths, and other equipment regularly. 

- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals, paints, and tools. 

- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards. 

- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used. 

- Stay updated on new painting techniques and materials for continuous improvement.

Job Requirement

l  Prior two-year work experience or substitute with a formal qualification

l  A “can-do” attitude

l  Have an eye on details

l  Self-motivated

l  Clean non-criminal record
