We need two permanent and full-time air-conditioning mechanics to join our  team. This is a great opportunity to gain experience. 

Job Description 

This role will include, but not limited to: 

• establishing job requirements from drawings and specifications, and laying out  installation reference points 

• drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading  piping 

• installing and repairing components such as compressors, motors,  condensers etc 

• filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks 

• test-operating systems, checking mechanisms, and making adjustments • checking and overhauling refrigeration systems, diagnosing faults and  repairing and replacing defective components 

• adjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systems • recording causes of malfunctioning and action taken 

• any other tasks assigned by the manager

• Location: Auckland 

• Job type: Full-time Permanent 

• Number of positions for this job: 2 

• Pay rate: $24.00 per hour 

• Days required: 5-6 days/week 

• Hours per week: at least 30, maximum 55 hours/week 

The successful applicant must have the following: 

• Five years relevant work experience AND relevant Bachelor or above qualification are required 

• Good work attitude and good communication skills 

• Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload 

• Quality workmanship and eye for detail 

• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety 

• Strong ability to work independently
