Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Driving trucks and heavy vehicles to transport goods efficiently.
  • Planning and following safe, time-efficient routes based on schedules and road
    conditions.
  • Securing loads properly with straps, chains, or tarps.
  • Assisting in loading and unloading goods to ensure safe, balanced weight
    distribution.
  • Checking and verifying delivery paperwork to confirm correct items and quantities.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid
    levels.
  • Ensuring compliance with NZ road laws, fatigue management, and weight
    regulations.
  • Reporting mechanical issues promptly and arranging necessary.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Valid NZ Driver license in 5 class
  • At least one years of working experience in relevant industry
  • Work may involve early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Must be physically fit to handle loading, unloading, and long driving hours.
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
