We are looking for experienced Thai Massage Therapists to join our team.

Requirements 

The successful applicants must have one of the following requirements.

• At least 2 years of experience in Thai massage, OR

• A Thai Massage Qualification of 150 hours or more, OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage), OR

• Related qualifications (NZ Register Diploma or higher; overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of New Zealand qualifications).

Job Descriptions

  • Apply Thai massage techniques to manipulate soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

  • Utilize Thai massage methods to boost athletic performance, prevent injuries, and aid in recovery.

  • Perform body treatments to encourage relaxation, enhance circulation, and alleviate muscle tension.

  • Evaluate and address soft tissue dysfunction while offering rehabilitation guidance.

  • Examine a client's physical condition and history, providing recommendations on stretching exercises and relaxation methods.

  • Incorporate additional therapeutic techniques suited to support the client's recovery.

  • Prepare massage oils and necessary equipment before the session.

Other detail 

  • This is a full-time and permanent position.

  • Wage payment between $27 - $35 per hour, depending on your experience and skills. You will be paid weekly.

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law.

  • You will be working at 2 Puketapu Road, Taradale, Napier

  • You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
