OUR COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT ,FULLTIME ,TRUCK DRIVER (CLASS 4 )TO JOIN OUR BUSY TEAM.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDES :

  • Taking resposibilities for your vehicles and notifying the company of any services or other maintaince that may be required .
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles safely to avoid any kind of damages .
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Reveiwing job sheets before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete .
  • Informing management of any obstruction to making safe ,efficient deliveries on time .
  • Keep your vehicle clean and tidy .
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries .
  • Notifying the company of any accidents or damage to the vehicle immediately and complete the appropriate paperwork within 24 hours .
  • Maintain a current drivers licence applicable for the vehicle you drive .

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Heavy vehicle license (nz class 4 or overseas equivalent )
  • Atleast 2 years relevant experience .
  • Good understanding of dealing with "Hot Mix ".(insight willbe tested at interview)
  • Ability to operate a "road ranger "gearbox.(insight willbe tested at interview)
  • Good understanding of related health and safety requirements (insight willbe tested at interview)
  • Physical fit as the job involves heavy lifting and moving heavy items
  • Willingness to undergo random drug testing .

PAY RATE :

$30 PER HOURS 

HOURS :

As this is a full-time position ,you willbe guarenteed a minimum of 30hours per week but will likely be required to work approximately 40 hours per week .Hours will be rostered and may involves working on weekends and evening .
