We are currently looking for roofers to join our team based in Otago region.

The roofers are responsible for completing all work assigned to them as per the defined scope confirmed in the job brief, including work on profiled metal, pressed metal, concrete tile, membrane and shingle roofs.

All work is to be completed to the standard confirmed in the job brief and in consistence with the NZ Building code requirements.

Each roofer is responsible for implementing safe work practice while at work, consistent with the requirement of the job. 

The day-to-day jobs include but are not limited to:

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing flashings, metallic roof and wall claddings and rainwater products
  • Ensuring roofing materials fit around other structures such as vents, corners, edges, chimney
  • Ensures roofing works are waterproof with no leakages

To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:

  • Two years’ relevant work experience
  • Put safety first at work at all time
  • Focus on communication with your co-workers and with our customers before commencement of any job
  • Strong job management skills
  • Willing to join training including attending refresher courses such as First Aid, working at heights, and workplace safety.
  • Able to drive and travel for work within Otago region.
