TET Contracting Limited is looking for experienced carpenters. Selected candidate/s will be responsible for the delivery of either residential or commercial services to TET Contracting Limited. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. 

This role may require you to travel away from home or relocate. You may be required to work on various sites across Auckland.

Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is reliable, flexible and a fast learner. You are confident in working independently or as part of a team on residential and/or commercial projects, ensuring all work meets company standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Strong eye for detail, a problem solver, and a commitment to qualilty and safety are essential.

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $30-$35 and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

You must be able to:

-Utilize and maintain hand tools, power tools and machinery safely

-Have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.

-Physical strength and stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.

-Read and interpret drawings (plans and blueprints)

- Work unsupervised or part of a team

- Follow established procedures; Especially Health & Safety

-Valid driver's license and reliable transport

-Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship completion is essential.

-You must be familiar with the Filipino culture

  • wall framing, cladding
  • foundations
  • decking
  • concrete framework
  • waterproofing

You must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening. Some sites require a pre-employment alcohol test.
