Be part of a company that’s proud of its people, its roots, and its region.  We’re looking for a practical, switched-on person to join our team in AUCKLAND, EAST TAMAKI, supporting our admin function of dispatch and transport operations within our livestock division.

This newly created role will suit someone local who is comfortable in an admin-focused role but understands the realities of a working transport depot. You’ll spend most of your time in the office supporting dispatch and keeping admin tidy and accurate, with some hands-on support in the yard when required.

About the Role

As Operations & Dispatch Support, you’ll look after customer invoicing, job processing and fleet administration (think fuel cards, RUCs & registrations), and pitch in with yard and depot tasks when required.  This is not a desk-only role.  It’s a varied position, working closely with dispatchers and our business support team in a busy rural transport environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing customer invoicing and supplier invoices accurately

  • Supporting dispatch with job entry, scheduling admin, and general day-to-day tasks

  • Keeping job, freight, and operational data up to date

  • Supporting fleet admin tasks such as fuel cards, RUCs and registrations

  • Acting as a second set of hands for dispatch

  • Helping in the yard when needed, including loader work (training provided if required)

  • Working with drivers, suppliers, and depot staff to keep information flowing and jobs on track

About You

You’ll likely be:

  • Practical, reliable, and comfortable switching between admin and hands-on work

  • Confident dealing with drivers, dispatchers, and depot teams

  • Organised and accurate with paperwork and systems

  • Happy working in a fast-paced, operational environment

  • Local to the West Otago or surrounding area

Experience in transport, logistics, rural operations, or administration is preferred. A willingness to learn, pitch in, and be part of the team is just as important.

A Pathway into Transport

If you’re interested in building a long-term career in rural transport, this role offers a solid foundation and exposure to dispatch, operations, and depot activity, with the potential to grow into a dispatch role in the future.

Why Join RALO LOGISTICS ?

  • A stable, local role in a well-established AUCKLAND business

  • A down-to-earth team that values honesty, ownership, and helping each other out

  • Supportive team environment with real people and real work

  • A company that’s proud of its people, its roots and its region
