Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and bulk earthworks.
  • Load and unload materials in construction and mining projects.
  • Ensure accurate grading, leveling, and excavation according to project plans.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and report any hazards or equipment issues.
  • Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and job instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other workers.
  • Maintain logs and records of operations as required.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • NZQF level 4 qualification;OR
  • At least three years of working experience in relevant industry
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
