We are a reputable company with more than five years of experience in providing tailored services for clients in Auckland to design, construct landscaping, and provide garden maintenance services. Currently, we are actively seeking suitable candidates to join our team. Our business operates from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

We are seeking Landscape Gardeners with fundamental landscape construction and plants knowledge, such as planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers. Candidates should also be capable of building gravel and paved surfaces, constructing walls and fences.

We have three permanent full-time positions available for Landscape Gardeners who are good team players and willing to take on new challenges. 

Requirements: 

-Trustworthy, knowledgeable about plants, and able to pay close attention to details. Landscape gardeners need to communicate well, working closely with clients to grasp their requirements;

-Must have at least two - year relative work experience in construction or landscaping gardening or NZQA certified level 4 Qualification;

-Can adapt to fexible working schedule (since this role might involve working on weekends and holidays).

Job responsibilities

  • Preparing and tending to seedbeds and cultivation sites；
  • Propagating and planting various vegetation such as trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs； 
  • Laying topsoil and sowing grass for lawns, maintaining these areas by weeding, trimming, fertilizing, watering, and mowing；
  • Laying instant turf；
  • Pruning trees and hedges；
  • Weed tree removal；
  • Installing supports and protective measures for plants；
  • Assessing tree health, conducting necessary maintaining activities such as pruning and shaping；
  • Applying treatments to control pests and diseases；
  • Proficient in using various garden tools；
  • Drafting plans, selecting materials and flora, and coordinating landscape construction activities；
  • Any other tasks assinged by superior or director.

Hourly Rate:$28-$30
