Beauty Salon Manager

Lana Beauty Limited is a beauty salon located in Auckland's Onehunga Mall, offering a range of high-quality and hygienic beauty services. We specialize in treatments like cosmetic brow tattoos, nails, and eyelash extensions and cater to customers looking to enhance their appearance.

We are looking to recruit one Beauty Salon Manager to oversee our business operation.   The position is a full-time permanent role with a guarantee of at least 30 hours (or more) per week.

Hours of work will be at least 6 to 8 hours a day between 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Sunday depending on roster schedule.  The pay rate will be between NZD $28 - $34 per hour.

The Beauty Salon Manager role will include below responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon, including opening, closing, and managing emergency call-outs.
• Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficiency and timely service for clients. Monitor and control budget, expenses, and revenue management.
• Handle inventory management, stock ordering, and product rotation to ensure the availability of essential supplies.
• Promote beauty services and recommend the best products to clients based on their needs.
• Recruit, train, and mentor salon staff, providing ongoing support, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Organise staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Ensure all clients receive exceptional service, addressing concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the salon adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards in all treatments.
• Provide staff with regular training on hygiene, sanitation, and best practices.

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the beauty industry
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good character, a friendly attitude, and display a positive, “lead by example” attitude
