Carpenter

About the Role

We are seeking two  Carpenters to join our team. The successful candidates will work across residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring all work complies with building codes, industry standards, and health and safety requirements. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24–$30, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

•            Construct, erect, install, renovate, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, lightweight steel, wallboard, and other building materials.

•            Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.

•            Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications to complete work accurately and efficiently.

•            Install framing, flooring, roofing, doors, windows, cabinetry, and internal/external fittings.

•            Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with building codes, quality standards, and project specifications.

•            Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, formwork, and supports.

•            Collaborate with builders, subcontractors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.

•            Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Skills and Experience Required

•            Relevant qualification at level 4 or above or at least 2 years of relevant qualification

•            Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.

•            Competent in the use of carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.

•            Strong understanding of building codes, construction standards, and site safety requirements.

•            Reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
