We are looking for a full time and permanent, hard-working and reliable Truck Driver. The start and finish point location will be in Auckland and will be working throughout New Zealand. Job includes driving, packing, stowing and delivering household, commercial goods and personal effects throughout New Zealand.

Hours of work: Monday – Sunday with rostered shifts

Wage Rate: $32 to $38 per hour

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours to Maximum 40 hours

Job Responsibilities

-            Assist in physical task loading and unloading furniture and belongings (residential and commercial) onto the truck, require lifting heavy objects. 

-            Responsible to move furniture and items from one location to another, safely and without damaging it.

-            Use caution while loading, unloading, and driving it and safely transport items to the designated locations

-            Your job will also require you to maintain an inventory that tracks all the items that you’re moving for a customer. It’s essential that this is as accurate as possible, as doing so will ensure that we don’t misplace or forget anything during our move.

-            Follow instructions provided by the team leader or supervisor

-            Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

-            Maintain a clean and organized work environment

-            Ability to operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

-            Driving within speed limit of 90km/h and wear seat belt while driving.

-            Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

-            Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
