Henric Group Ltd, based in Porirua, Wellington, design, manufacture, supply, and install a wide range of stone benchtops.

Location : Porirua, Wellington

Employment Type : Full time (Permanent)

Duration : 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (optional weekends)

Pay : $30/hour (Min 30 hours & Max 50 hours per week, earning $900 - $1500 weekly)

Duties of the Role:

·       Cut, polish, grind, mitre, and install stone benchtops according to specifications and design plans.

·       Finish stone surfaces for kitchen benchtops, bathroom vanities, fire hearths, and other products using appropriate tools and techniques.

·       Lay and fit stones in alignment with project drawings and measurements.

·       Adapt to company operations and processes, particularly in stone benchtop fabrication.

·       Ensure tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored after each use.

·       Read, interpret, and work from shop drawings and design specifications.

·       Liaise with the Factory Manager / Head Stonemason to ensure work progress meets quality standards and project timelines.

·       Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and best practices.

·       Follow safe manual handling procedures and use of machinery.

·       Keep the workspace clean and hazard-free at all times.

·       Commitment to workplace safety and care for equipment and materials.

 

Requisite Competencies

·       2 years’ relevant experience in similar industry

·       Hardworking and physically fit with ability to lift 50+ pounds

·       Be comfortable working at heights and on ladders

·       Awareness of health and safety requirements and high safety-consciousness

·       A keen eye for detail

·       Reliable & able to get to work on time at a variety of site locations

·       The right to work in New Zealand
