To provide the trade skills, knowledge, experience, and competency to undertake glazing work to comply with the specified requirements for the contract works in a safe and timely manner.

Duties include: 

·         Loading and unloading of glass and mirror materials and products.

·         Interpreting blueprints to determine type, size, shape, colour and thickness of glass.

·         Measuring and marking for glass placement.

·         Cut and shape glass, smooth edges, apply finishes, fit antiglare film.

·         Prepare surfaces and ensure proper alignment and position before installing.

·         Installing glass including frameless glass.

·         Repair and removal of glass.

·         Fabricate and install mouldings for glass.

·         Residential/Commercial double glazing and Retrofit glazing.

·         Proven skill with frameless glass – balustrades, partitions, showers and more.

Required:

• At least 2 years relevant experience or relevant level 4 qualification
• Attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Ability to pass a drug test 

On Offer:

-          Pay: $30 - $35 per hour

-          Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, may be occasional weekend work
