We are hiring for Tiancheng Building Ltd, a professional construction company based in Auckland. We specialise in residential and commercial building projects and undertake a wide range of construction work across the Auckland region. We are currently seeking skilled DIGGER OPERATOR to join our growing team.

●        Job type: Full-time Permanent

●        Number of positions for this job: up to 2

●        Pay rate: from $28-$35 per hour

●        Days required: 5-6 days/week

●        Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Operate earthmoving machines and complete large scale and precision
excavation work
• Prepare machines by selecting, fitting, and installing right attachments
• Read detailed construction/civil plans and position machines for operation
• Operate and control the machines to cut, excavate, break, drill, level, compact, and
gouge out the ground
• Operate machines to fill, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other
materials
• Manipulate attachments using manual, electronic or hydraulic controls
• Perform routine checks on machines and adjust controls to regulate the operation,
and ensure safety of other workers
• Conduct preventative maintenance on machines when required
• Follow verbal and drawing instructions to ensure work performance
• Clean, lubricate, refuel, adjust and repair machines when required

Job Requirement

• At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

• A 'can-do”attitude

• Have an eye on details

• Self-motivated

• Clean non-criminal record
