We are hiring for NEW GATE LIMITED, a professional construction company based in Auckland. We specialise in residential and commercial building projects and undertake a wide range of construction work across the Auckland region. We are currently seeking skilled Carpenters to join our growing team.

● Location: AUCKLAND

● Job type: Full-time Permanent

●  Number of positions for this job: up to 5

●  Pay rate: from $28-$35 per hour

●  Days required: 5-6 days/week

●  Hours per week: min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Account abilities:

• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to determine construction requirements and installation procedures
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining timber and other materials
• Constructing, installing, renovating, and repairing structures and fixtures including frameworks, floors, walls, roofs, doors, and windows.
• Nailing panels, boards, and blocks into position using hand tools and power tools.
• Installing formwork and reinforcing frameworks for concrete pouring.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of workmanship, safety, and quality.

 • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.

 • Collaborating with other construction team members and contractors to meet project deadlines

 • Complying with all building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards

Job Requirement

 • At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

 • A 'can-do”attitude

 • Have an eye on details

 • Self-motivated

 • Clean non-criminal record
