We are a company based in Manukau operating within the larger Auckland area. We require the services of permanent 3 x experienced carpenters to work between Monday to Saturday for a minimum of 30 hours work a week on an hourly rate between $30 - $35.  The ANZSCO code is 331211. 

Job Description:

The applicant will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Study plans to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures

  • Select timbers, materials and prepare layouts

  • Cut material, assemble and nail parts

  • Erect frames and trusses

  • Lay sub-flooring and floorboards

  • Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames

  • Set up concrete foundation

  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

  • Collaborating with the construction team to meet project timelines and deadlines

  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

  • Ensure workmanship and observe health and safety regulations

Job pre-requisites:

The successful applicant should be of good health and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
