Machine Operator required

We are an well-establish export company currently based in Auckland. We supply processed feathers and down to manufactures overseas. We only source and supply the highest quality products within the industry.  

We are now seeking enthusiastic and dedicated a full time (30 – 50 hours/week) Machine Operators to join our team. Due to our unique practice, we will be able to provide trainings in some instances for these suitable candidates.

The Machine Operators are expected to:

-        Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.

-        Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.

-        Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.

-        Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

-        Trouble shooting machinery settings and processes

-        Be able to conduct quality assurance check to make sure the product standards are met

-        Start machines and monitor conveyor lines

-        Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

-        Clean of equipment and area

Suitable candidates should have:

-        at least 3 years’ relevant trade work experience in the same field or

-        have a relevant level 4 or equivalent qualifications/certificates

-        Having good knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.

-        Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests should need be.

-        Be physically fit.

We offer a competitive salary of $25/hour and it could be negotiated to $30.00 per hour depending on your personal attributes and experiences. If you are a proactive person, and a great team player, please send your CV
