and tablet repairs, dedicated to providing expert solutions for all
major brands. We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join
our team in Gisborne Region, offering top-notch repair services and
technical support.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on mobile phones,
tablets, and related devices to identify both hardware and
software issues.
• Utilise specialised tools and diagnostic software to accurately
detect faults or physical damage.
• Perform systematic testing to determine the root cause of
common issues such as unresponsive screens, faulty buttons,
battery failures, and software errors.
• Execute repairs or component replacements for defective
parts, including but not limited to screens, batteries, cameras,
charging ports, buttons, and audio components.
• Carefully disassemble and reassemble mobile devices,
ensuring precision and proper reinstallation of all internal
components.
• Manage intricate internal hardware repairs involving
motherboards, integrated circuits, connectors, and other
delicate components.
• Apply proper techniques and tools to perform hardware
interventions without causing collateral damage to
surrounding parts.• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems,
including operating system failures, application crashes, and
malware infections.
• Carry out system restorations, firmware updates, and
software installations as required.
• Assist with device unlocking, password resets, and data
backup or recovery procedures.
• Install, update, and configure mobile applications based on
customer needs.
• Interact professionally with customers to gather accurate
information about device issues.
• Clearly communicate repair processes, timelines, and cost
estimates in a customer friendly manner.
• Educate customers on best practices for device maintenance
and protective measures to minimise future damage.
• Provide prompt and knowledgeable technical support through
in-person consultations and over-the-phone assistance.

• Relevant Level 5 Diploma level qualification OR Relevant
industry work experience of Minimum 2 Years is required.
Hours and Position:-
• This is a full time permanent positions with minimum 30
hours +per week.
Pay Rate:-
• $30 to $35 per hour
