An established manufacturer and retailer of wool bedding products is looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive our global growth.

BNC International Ltd is a New Zealand-based company headquartered in Auckland, operating multiple brands and regional business activities across New Zealand. 

Cozy & Comfort New Zealand represents the company’s wool and alpaca fibre product operations, with its factory production, showroom sales, and international distribution based in the Bay of Plenty region, which serves as the primary location for the development, promotion, and sales of the company’s natural fibre product range.

The Bay of Plenty operation focuses on wool and alpaca fibre rugs, mattresses, pillows, cushions, and related lifestyle products, using natural, renewable materials and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices to deliver durable and comfortable products.

 

Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team

in the Bay of Plenty, supporting the development and expansion of our products across international markets, with a primary focus on the Chinese market.

Responsibilities

The role will include, but not limited to:

1.     Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the company’s factory, showroom, and wool and alpaca fibre products.

2.     Plan and support promotional campaigns in collaboration with the sales team to increase brand awareness and generate sales leads.

3.     Represent the company during showroom visits, factory tours, and VIP client visits by delivering professional product presentations and brand demonstrations as part of marketing and brand engagement activities.

4.     Conduct market research on customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends, and provide insights and recommendations to support marketing and market expansion strategies.

5.     Manage and update digital and offline marketing materials, including social media content, brochures, promotional materials, and showroom displays.

6.     Coordinate with production, sales, and management teams to ensure marketing activities align with business operations and product capabilities.

7.     Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors and business partners, particularly within the Chinese market.

Job pre-requisites:

·       At least bachelor qualification major in marketing or relevant field.

·       At least one year’s full-time work experience in marketing or sales positions gained after formal study (experiences preferred to be gained in the same or relevant industry).

·       Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

·       Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

·       Reliable, professional and customer-focused working attitude.
