Our fast-paced logistics hub in Northland, based in Kamo, Whangārei, is actively seeking two experienced Delivery Drivers (Class 2) to join the team promptly.

As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in pristine condition.
The job:
- Immediate start
- Days of work: Monday to Saturday
- Hours: 06.00 am- 02.00 pm (depending on the run).
- Site location: Kamo, Whangārei

The role: You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations across the Northland region, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business. The primary responsibilities include:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are transported securely and safely
- Deliver goods according to customer orders on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirements
- Perform daily checks – oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required.
The candidate:
- A full Class 2 driver's licence, must be able to drive a manual truck.
- Have clear communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the wider Northland region is desirable
- Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
- Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail
- Clean driving and criminal records
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg
- Possess good organisational and time management skills
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Have reliable transport for commute
