Automotive workshop assistant

Job Duties:


Booking in and barcoding vehicles collecting keys and using handheld tech

Conducting vehicle inpections and quality checks to customer standards

Operating forklifts and supporting yard movement 

Detailing, washing or preparing vehicles for auction

Road testing vechicles and recording results

Assist panel beaters to paint and polish vehicles

General vehicle bodywork maintenance and reconditioning

Requirements:

Trade qualified or experience in automotive field for more than 3 years

Minimum level 2 or 3 qualification in automotive or transport

Forklift and class 3 drivers licence is a MUST

Good communication and time management skills

Must be a New Zealand resident or with a valid work rights
