A hands-on role supporting equipment service and workshop operations for New Zealand’s leading distributor of gelato, ice cream, and soft serve machinery.

Join New Zealand’s leading distributor of gelato, ice cream, and soft serve equipment. We’re looking for a hands-on Service & Workshop Technician to support our growing operations and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Location: 5/110 Mays road, Onehunga, Auckland 
Salary range based on experience: $26.85ph – $28.00ph
Type of work: Full time 38 hours per week- Permanent

What you’ll do

  • Assist customers with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
  • Provide on-site support for installations, repairs, and servicing of machinery or products
  • Prepare quotes and collaborate closely with the service department
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and timely service
  • Record service activities and report recurring issues to management
  • Receive, check, and store incoming goods
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
  • Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment 

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in service and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads (mandatory)
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory and service reporting
  • Forklift license (mandatory)
  • Full driver’s license (mandatory)
