With increasing demand and strong momentum, we’re expanding our sales team and are on the hunt for a high-energy B2B Sales Representative to grow our customer base and territory.

Harman Impex | Field-Based Role

Harman Impex is a well-established, Kiwi-owned wholesale and distribution business with over 20 years’ experience supplying Indian and ethnic FMCG products across New Zealand. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated B2B Sales Representative to expand our customer base and grow sales within an assigned territory.

This is a field-based, new business–focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face selling, prospecting, and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new B2B customers across retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels

  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement

  • Present commercially sound product and range solutions tailored to customer needs

  • Increase range penetration and maximise share of wallet within accounts

  • Manage sales performance against agreed revenue and growth targets

  • Liaise internally to ensure accurate order fulfilment and service delivery

  • Maintain customer records, reporting, and documentation within company systems

  • Develop a strong understanding of customer drivers to support mutually beneficial partnerships

About You

  • 2–5 years’ experience in B2B sales (FMCG, foodservice, wholesale or related industries preferred)

  • Confident prospecting and cold-calling skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities

  • Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset

  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field

  • Organised, disciplined, and accountable for results

Important to Note

This role is not suited to candidates seeking a desk-based or account-management-only position. You will be out meeting customers daily, opening new accounts, and driving growth through activity.
