Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring business performance targets are achieved.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, organise, direct and control daily retail store operations

  • Manage stock purchasing, stock control, inventory management and supplier coordination

  • Monitor sales performance and prepare sales and financial reports

  • Recruit, train, supervise and roster staff

  • Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer complaints professionally

  • Maintain store presentation, merchandising and visual display standards

  • Operate and oversee POS systems, cash handling and daily reconciliation

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

  • Implement promotional strategies and pricing updates

Digital & Online Operations Responsibilities:

  • Manage store website updates including product listings, pricing, promotions and stock availability

  • Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram etc.) and create basic promotional content

  • Plan and execute local digital marketing campaigns to increase foot traffic and online sales

  • Monitor online enquiries, reviews and respond to customer messages professionally

  • Coordinate online orders, click & collect services and delivery processes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant retail management experience OR  Level 4 qualification or higher

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Good communication and organisational abilities

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience with digital marketing and social media management will be preferred

  • Ability to update and manage website content and online product catalogues

  • Basic understanding of online advertising platforms (Facebook/Instagram Ads)

  • Strong attention to detail for online pricing, promotions and stock accuracy

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong time management and multitasking ability

  • Customer-focused attitude

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets
