Wage: $25.00 hourly rate

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, Maximum 50 hours per week, shifted by

                           roster from Monday to Sunday

Wonder central kitchen limited is Auckland based BBQ restaurant which is very popular among local people. Due to the business requirement, we are looking for 2 experience cooks to join our business. 

Requirements:

  • A qualification at cookery level 4;

  • At least 36 months relevant experience working in the kitchen of restaurant;

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both suppliers and team members;

  • Excellent time management skills;

  • Physically well to work under pressure during peak meal time;

  • Follow all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out the preparation, seasoning, and cooking following the menu 

  • Prepare and cook food on menu to satisfactory standards;

  • Ensure all food is prepared, well presented and fresh for each dining session

  • Monitor the quality of dishes, liaise with manager in regards to food preparation matters;

  • Maintain the quality of food supplies, manage the stock level to meet the kitchen requirements

  • Regulating temperatures of cooking equipment and maintain excellent food handling and kitchen hygiene standards 

  • Keep the working area clean and tidy, ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered

  • Assist with other duties as required by the business
