We are looking for 1 skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our busy team for an immediate start.

Location of Work: Auckland

Number of Vacancies: 1

Type of employment: full time, 30-40 hours per week

Days required: Monday to Saturday 

Pay: $33 - $36 per hour  

Your duties will include:

·      Configure, test, and commission IT and communication links between HVAC equipment, controllers, sensors, and gateways

·      Commission and support networked HVAC control systems

·      Diagnose and resolve communication and control faults affecting HVAC and smart home systems

·      Support system integration between HVAC installations and building management and control platforms

·      Assist in the installation, commission, and testing of air-conditioning and heat-pump systems

·      Install, terminate, and test data and control cabling

·      Ensure all work complies with New Zealand standards and health and safety requirements

Successful applicants will have:

·      A relevant Level 4 qualification (or higher) in IT, automation, or a related field, AND

·      At least one year of relevant experience in HVAC controls, building automation, smart home systems, or a related industry

·      Sound knowledge of IT systems, networking, and communication protocols

·      Good understanding of HVAC electrical and control systems

·      Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and control-related faults

·      Strong attention to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship
