Job duties:

·         Oversee and supervise poultry processing workers on the production line to ensure daily operations run efficiently and safely.

·         Coordinate and allocate tasks to staff involved in poultry processing, including cutting, trimming, packing, and handling of poultry products.

·         Monitor production output and workflow to ensure production targets and schedules are met efficiently.

·         Ensure all poultry processing activities comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance requirements.

·         Train, guide, and support production staff to maintain consistent performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.

·         Enforce workplace health and safety policies, identifying and addressing potential hazards in the processing environment.

·         Maintain production records, staffing records, and report any operational, quality, or safety issues to management.

 

Pay rate: Minimum $30.00/ hour   Maximum $35.00/ hour

 

Guaranteed hours of work per week:  Minimum 35 hours, permanent full-time

 

Requirements for the job:

·         At least 2 years of relevant work experience

·         Full time availability, may work on the weekends

·         No criminal record

·         Candidates need to be NZ citizen/resident
