The minimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30hrs

D&D Professional Painters Limited Introduction:

ADBrothers House Painting and Maintenance Limited, established in 2024, is an Auckland-based painting company specializing in delivering high-quality painting solutions to our clients. Due to growing business demand, we are seeking to hire experienced painter to join our team.

Key Task & Responsibilities:

reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments;

calculating materials required for a job

erecting scaffolding and ladders, setting up ventilators and other safety equipment to protect Painters from unhealthy fumes

mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specifications

covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings

removing old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds or blowtorches

preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them

applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them

applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers

cutting and hanging wallpaper, vinyl and backing paper following safeguards, rules and regulations

The minimum qualification and work experience requirements:

·       At least two years of relevant work experience OR

·       At least relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification

Other skills required:

Able to speak chinese, korean, japanese and vietnamese is an advantage

Be an active member of the team helping whenever necessary.

A strong commitment to and understanding of procedures and standards.

Good communication with management, other team members and all clients.

"Can-do" attitude and strong work ethic.
