Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tiler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying tiles, and ensuring high quality finishes for walls, floors, and other areas.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 year of work experience OR at least a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field.

Job Description:

  •  Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces for tiling works.
  • Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites.
  • Removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks if needed.
  • Preparing and cleaning wall and floor surfaces for tiling.
  • Mixing and spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles.
  • Using all kinds of tools and equipment provided by us to cut and shape the tiles needed for edges and corners.
  •  Checking tiles are laid with correct and nice spacing and removing excess grout.
  •  Applying waterproof and membrane systems.
  • Laying tiles around objects such as fittings and pipes.
  • Able to lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics.
  • Able to lay ceramic, marble, granolithic, terrazzo, cement or glass tiles
  • Able to lay underlays and assist with installing underfloor heating system
  •  Proficiency in using tiling tools and materials, with a keen eye for detail.
