Digger Operator – Drainage Projects

We are currently seeking experienced Civil Digger Operators to join one of our well-established drainage clients in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators looking for steady work and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating 25–30 tonne excavators confidently
• Working on drainage and civil construction projects
• Reading and working with GPS systems
• Assisting with service locating when required
• Operating wheels, tractors, and rollers (WTR) as needed
• Working as part of a professional civil team on active sites

What We’re Looking For:

• At least one year of experience operating diggers/excavators
• Confident operating 25–30 tonne machines
• Current and valid license with WTR endorsement
• Site Safe certification
• Experience reading GPS
• Some locating experience preferred
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Ability to pass a drug test and conviction check

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays as required
• Schedule: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• $30+ per hour, depending on experience and skill level
