Fast Supply 2019 Limited based in Flat Bush, Auckland, is specialised in steel installation. We are looking for two Junior Fabricators Welders to join our awesome team. 

You will be expected to work at different sites throughout Auckland region, a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to perform on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $27.00-$29.00 based on candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

  • Assist in studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings

  • Support fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment

  • Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks on structural steel and other metal components under supervision.

  • Check assembled parts for basic accuracy and fit, using measuring instruments as instructed.

  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn within the team.

  • Follow company guidelines, safety procedures, and policies relevant to the role.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

  • At least one year of relevant experience in structural steel welding and/or fabrication

  • Relevant qualification or certificate is an advantage.

  • Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role

  • Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.

  • A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress. 

  • Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
