We are currently seeking x2 dedicated Courier Drivers to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and pickup packages to our clients while providing exceptional customer service.
This is a full time role for a min of 30 hours per week and max 40 hours per week. The pay rate is minimum $25 per hour to maximum $30 per hour for Mon-Saturday between 5 am-5 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pickups to designated locations within specified timeframe.
- Load and unload packages onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and security of all items.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from
clients in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records including proof of delivery and any discrepancies
encountered using handheld scanners.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, pedestrians, and other
drivers on the road.
- Stick to company standards and regulations without taking any shortcuts, ensuring that all deliveries are
conducted with integrity and professionalism.
- Fully comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation and delivery operations.
- Collaborate with team members and management to continuously improve delivery processes and
customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Must have a secondary school qualification.
- Valid full New Zealand driver licence including Dangerous Good Licence or ability to gain full New Zealand driver’s licence including DG Licence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30Kg.
- Display a willingness to start early in the morning and finish late as needed to ensure timely and efficient
delivery and pickups of packages.
- Perform duties in any weather condition, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in challenging environments.
- You must have a clean police record and drug check.
