Courier Driver

We are currently Looking for 2 reliable experienced Courier /Delivery Drivers to join our Auckland team. The Successful applicant will be someone who is enthusiastic about work, who is looking for job security and share our passion for delivering excellent customer service. Full training will be provided.

Your Job duties will include:

The role will involve driving throughout the Auckland and out of Auckland.

• Delivering a wide variety of items including medical stuff and dangerous goods by arranging the most efficient delivery route while prioritizing essential goods delivery.

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles. Communicating with dispatching team, other drivers and other team members when required.

• Checking the size, weight, and other dimensions of delivery package before loading and informing dispatching team if there is any change.

• Complete all required delivery paperwork.

• Making sure products must be loaded correctly, on time, and as detailed in order, information always supplied from the customer and dispatching team. Follow Health and safety standards.

Requirement

•   Have a clean Class 1 driver license and Able to drive manual transmission vehicle.
•  We will help with training for dangerous(D) good licenses if not prior.
•  Have effective communication skills and be physically fit as occasionally must lift max up to 20 kgs walk to deliver site.
•  Must be comfortable with using company mobile app (training will be given).
•  Ability to operate in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Excellent organization and time management skills are key to be successful in role.
• Usually time 4:00 am to till 5:00 pm depending upon job assign timings
•  Work area includes in and outs from Auckland according to jobs requirement.
• Have a clear criminal record.
• Undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, toro verification for driving license as a pre-requisite to obtaining employment.

You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
