BEEEEST SERVICE LIMITED is looking for a Travel Consultant to join us in Otago. You will work 30-45 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $25 to $30, subject to your skills and experience. 

 

Key tasks:

-       Identify and develop new market opportunities to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.

-       Assess clients’ travel needs, preferences, budgets, and special interests to deliver tailored travel solutions.

-       Plan, organize and coordinate clients’ travel activities, including transport, accommodation, detailed itineraries and related bookings.

-       Advise clients on travel dates, baggage allowances and relevant government regulations, including customs and border requirements.

-       Design and recommend itineraries based on travel routes, costs, availability, and convenience of transport.

-       Adapt promptly to weather conditions, traffic disruptions, or emergencies to ensure traveler safety and trip continuity.

-       Provide engaging commentary on New Zealand’s history, culture, geography, and key attractions to enhance the visitor experience.

-       Process payments and issue travel documentation, including itineraries, tickets, and related materials.

-       Respond to visitor enquiries to deepen their understanding of destinations and activities

 

Requirements

-       A diploma or higher-level qualification, in tourism management or hospitality management

-       Excellent communication skills and time management

-       Speaking Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred to ensure effective communication with our clients

-       Ability to work flexible hours including weekend

-       Being reliable and honest. No criminal record
