Requirements 

• At least 2 years of experience in Thai massage, OR

• A Thai Massage Qualification of 150 hours or more, OR

• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage), OR

• Related qualifications (NZ Register Diploma or higher; overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of New Zealand qualifications).

Job Descriptions

  • Assessing clients’ body condition 

  • Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments accordingly

  • Utilising various massage techniques, including Thai massage, Thai oil massage, lymphatic drainage massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage, and Swedish massage, to relax, relieve body tension and assist the healing

  • Provide sport massage to enhance sports performance and prevent injury

  • Focusing on healing the clients’ physical condition

  • Providing clients with routines stretching and relaxation techniques 

  • Having good health, character and a good work ethic with a can-do attitude

  • Able to work unsupervised, and be reliable

Other detail 

• This is a full-time and permanent position

• Wage payment between $27 - $30 per hour, depending on your experience and skills. You will be paid weekly.

• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

• You will work according to a roster for 5 to 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)

• The employer has two different branches, and you will be working in one of them as agreed upon by you and the employer: (1) Elite Thai Massage Clinic Christchurch, 162 Clarence Street, Riccarton, Christchurch; (2) Elite Thai Massage Clinic Timaru, 195 Stafford Street, Timaru.
