We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join this growing production team! If you’re passionate about precision, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

What you're there to do:

  • Glass processing to specifications, in a safe and efficient manner

  • Operate equipment, set up and adjust glassware manufacturing machines according to work instruction requirements

  • Safe manual handling of glass

  • Loading and unloading glass sheets for edging, drilling and finishing

  • Receiving goods and inventory control

  • Adhering to production targets, quality assurance and accuracy. Inspect glass products for defects

  • Participating and contributing to site safety

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years glass processing/machine operating experience or secondary NCEA qualification- Experience in cutting, robot, laminating or arisser would be highly advantageous

  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, being able to analyse and solve problems

  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing terms such as DIFOT is advantageous 

  • Operating machines at full efficiency

  • Mechanical aptitude and approach to problem solving

  • Good attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to follow instructions

  • Effective communication

  • Physical fitness is required as manual lifting is involved

  • Dedicated safety focus

What we have to offer:

  • Multiple shifts! 6.00am - 2.30pm / 2.30pm - 10.00pm / 11.00pm - 7.30am

  • Monday to Friday, may be occasional weekend work, minimum of 30 hours per week

  • Competitive pay: $26 - $30 per hour - we pay for experience!
