Old Mill Estate Wines (NZ) Limited based in Dairy Flat, Auckland specialises in providing a range of premium wine. We are looking for one digital marketing officer to join our team.

You will be working at our office in Dairy Flat to perform your duties. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $30.00-$40.00 based on the candidates' skills.

 

Job Description for This Position

  •         Plan, develop, and execute integrated digital marketing and advertising campaigns across social media platforms (including RedNote, TikTok, etc), the company website, email marketing channels, and paid digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads to support sales and brand objectives.
  •          Develop, manage, and coordinate digital content and advertising materials that promote J HIPI’s vineyard, wine products, and brand attributes, including winery storytelling, product launches, lifestyle content, and promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  •          Coordinate the production and scheduling of digital advertising activities, including artwork, copywriting, visual assets, and media placement, ensuring campaigns are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.
  •          Advise director and the sales or business development team on appropriate digital advertising strategies and promotional approaches to effectively reach target markets and increase consumer awareness of J HIPI wine products.
  •          Monitor, analyse, and interpret digital marketing performance data, including website traffic, customer engagement, conversion rates, and online sales enquiries, to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future marketing initiatives.
  •          Analyse consumer patterns, preferences, and online feedback to identify emerging trends and predict future consumer demand within the wine and viticulture sector.
  •          Manage J HIPI’s online brand presence and reputation by overseeing digital communications, responding to customer enquiries, comments, and reviews, and maintaining a consistent brand tone of voice across all online platforms.
  •          Support business growth and development by contributing to the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and digital marketing programs aligned with the company’s broader commercial strategy.
  •      Collaborate with internal teams to ensure digital marketing activities complement broader sales and business development initiatives, without direct responsibility for sales negotiations or client contracting.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in the marketing field, or a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing or similar.
  • The ability to communicate in additional languages commonly used in Asian markets (such as Mandarin or other Asian languages) is preferred, as Asia is one of the company’s key target markets.
  • Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role.
  • A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.
