Fundraising Data & Insights Coordinator

Philips Search & Rescue Trust (PSRT) is the charity responsible for fundraising and promoting the North Island’s largest network of community rescue helicopters. They engage and inspire the people of Aotearoa New Zealand to support a service that saves lives every day.

As the Fundraising Data & Insights Coordinator, you will bridge Fundraising & Marketing and Finance, owning CRM performance, data integrity, analysis and reporting. You’ll be the go-to CRM expert, keeping the database healthy, supporting and upskilling users, improving workflows and turning data into meaningful insights.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that blends CRM administration, analysis and project coordination always with a donor-first focus. Analysing data to provide solid guidance in order to grow fundraising impact and strengthen donor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise the Fundraiser One CRM, including data quality, workflows and documentation
  • Deliver accurate data and segmentation for appeals, campaigns and donor communications
  • Analyse fundraising performance, donor behaviour, acquisition and retention
  • Produce clear, actionable reports for non-technical stakeholders
  • Support CRM users through onboarding, training and troubleshooting
  • Ensure strong data governance, privacy and compliance

About you

You’re naturally curious, analytical, and proactive, with a genuine interest in exploring data, uncovering patterns, and understanding what drives results. You’re comfortable turning data into clear, practical recommendations that improve outcomes.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience managing a CRM or donor database (Fundraiser One or Salesforce preferred but not essential)
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capability, ideally within fundraising or the not-for-profit sector
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity
  • Confidence working collaboratively across teams
