XIUFENG WANG Trading as Golden Phoenix，based in Clevedon, Auckland. We are a modern farm covering 25 acres, mainly growing vegetables such as beetroot, white radish, green beans, and others. We are looking for a full-time Outdoor Crop Production Supervisor to join our team and you will be work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily outdoor crop production operations, including land preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease control, and harvesting.

  • Monitor crop growth and field conditions, identifying issues related to yield, quality, pests, diseases, or weather, and implement corrective actions.

  • Allocate tasks and provide on-site supervision and training to farm workers and seasonal staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

  • Ensure all farming activities comply with New Zealand health and safety regulations, biosecurity requirements, and environmental standards.

  • Operate and oversee the safe use of farm machinery, tools, and equipment used in outdoor crop production.

  • Maintain accurate records of planting schedules, labour allocation, crop yields, chemical usage, and harvest outputs.

  • Assist in planning production schedules to meet market demand and delivery timelines.

  • Liaise with farm management regarding staffing needs, crop performance, and operational improvements.

About you:

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in the same field OR
    NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
