Are you an organized and reliable individual with a clean driving record? We are looking for a Courier Driver to join our team in full-time, permanent role. We are based in Lower Hutt and you will be responsible for driving across the Wellington region and achieve timely deliveries.

You will be guaranteed 30 hours per week, between Monday to Saturday, 5:00 am to 6:00 pm. We offer a competitive wage between $25 to $29 per hour and full training will be provided to the right candidate.

 Job duties:

 Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

·         Deciding the appropriate route for delivery schedule and safely drive company vehicle to various locations through efficient routes.

·         Manoeuvring vehicle, loading and unloading goods.

·         Ensuring safety standards are met and adhered to, while loading and unloading.

·         Assisting with loading to ensure goods are safely secured to prevent damage.

·         Ensure timely and safe deliveries, keeping goods in excellent condition.

·         Completing delivery records and required paperwork.

·         Ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times.

·         Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.

·         Following accident procedures, if and when required.

·         Providing excellent customer service.

 

 To be considered for this role, you:

·         Must have a valid Class 1 driver license with clean driving record and D endorsement.

·         Preferably have relevant work experience.

·         Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

·         Ability to lift and carry heavy items.

·         Excellent time management and communication skills.

·         You must be honest and reliable.
