Delivery Driver/Workshop Labourer

We are seeking one Delivery Driver/Workshop Labourer who is motivated to develop their skills, takes pride in their work, and is keen to progress toward the next level of craftsmanship. This role includes a significant delivery and logistics component and is based out of our Cromwell workshop, supporting both workshop and site teams.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Fabrication of European-style metal roofing, cladding, flashings, and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous materials, slate, and lead

• Fabrication of aluminium façades, fascias, integrated fascia/parapets, and bespoke aluminium solutions

• Delivery of manufactured materials, tools, and components to project sites and suppliers

• Loading, transporting, and unloading materials with care and attention to detail to prevent damage

• Ensuring vehicles, loads, and deliveries comply with all H&S requirements

• Preparing and organising flashing order lists for workshop fabrication in coordination with the site foreman

• Positioning parts and sub-assemblies accurately on site

• Operating fabrication machinery such as rolls, shears, and folding machines

• Following instructions carefully and communicating clearly with supervisors and colleagues

• Taking a solution-oriented approach to on-site challenges

• Maintaining a positive, professional, and respectful attitude with clients, suppliers, and team members

• Attending staff meetings and training sessions as required

• Contributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and equipment inventory

• Travelling to and between project sites as required

What We’re Looking For

• A strong work ethic and a genuinely positive attitude

• High attention to detail and pride in handling finished products carefully

• Willingness to listen, learn, and follow instructions

• Practical mindset with a problem-solving, solution-focused approach

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• A current, clean NZ driver licence (essential)

• Must be Cromwell-based or willing to be based in Cromwell

• Must have current NZ residency, NZ citizenship, or a valid NZ work visa
