The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join the Toowoomba Region team on a permanent basis. Based in Toowoomba, you will have the opportunity to apply your established skills and experience on a variety of construction projects across Toowoomba and regional Queensland. Your approach to work will align with our client's commitment to quality, safety and excellence – doing it once, doing it safely, and doing it well!

The Position

Based in Toowoomba, you will have the opportunity to apply your established skills and experience on a variety of construction projects across Toowoomba and regional Queensland. To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:
- A professional, open and honest approach to communication
- Vocational or Tertiary qualifications in Safety (minimum Cert IV)
- Experience in leading safety management on construction projects, including implementation of systems and processes, on-site training and education
- Experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety, quality and environmental management regulations and practices as relative to construction sites
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong grasp of construction methodologies specifically relating to ground works, structures and formwork, with the ability to understand and interpret drawings and design documentation advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a highly developed ability to build and develop positive working relationships.
