Project Administrator needed for a construction company in Toowoomba/Brisbane, highly competitive salary offered for the right candidate

Our client is a rapidly growing full-service development and construction company delivering high-quality projects across all industry sectors in Australia.

The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join the Projects team based in both Toowoomba and Brisbane on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide the ultimate support to the project management teams to deliver diverse construction projects.

This is a fast-paced position with often numerous projects running simultaneously. To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • 2 – 3 years practical experience in projects administration of construction projects
  • Exposure to project financial management, including but not limited to, budgeting, projections and accurate record-keeping
  • A desire to build a career in the commercial construction industry;
  • Experience in subcontractor management and a strong knowledge of contracts and BCIPA
  • Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Construction Management (or similar) OR currently undertaking appropriate qualification would be desirable
  • Highly developed knowledge of the construction process and common challenges
  • Previous experience in computerised accounting software such as Jobpac is advantageous;
  • A proactive team player;
  • Well-developed level of communication, organisational, interpersonal and time management skills
